Like a thread through a needle, a path must be found.
"Nothing exists between the realms of life and death. The space between is like a thread through a needle, a path between realms, where nothing exists, but everything is possible."
Theme: Necromancy (Magic relating to death)
Special Object: Needle
Interpretation: A game where you magically switch between the world of life and death to navigate a vertical tunnel. You use a needle as a grappling gun to climb the tunnel.
You play as a shape, stuck between the worlds of life and death. To find the way out, you must use a mysterious, threaded needle, that can propel you through the world. Switch through the two worlds to find new paths and avoid obstacles.
The bulk of this game was made by myself (Lucas Ljunggren) for the Jame Gam #40. This included planning, art, programming and production. The jam was six days, but two of those were spent grubbling on ideas. A lovely composer called Devon Balicki (space.wolf) helped with some beautiful soundscapes to elevate this game to the next level, she also helped with some ideas and support for the game.

Like the art style and the post processing, Absolutely fantastic music. I got stuck in all 3 of my runs tho, I don't know if that is intended or not, But that's the only nitpick I have against this game, Great work overall.
Hey! I remember you from another jam, thanks for playing! I've realized I wasn't clear enough that you are supposed to switch between light and black to reveal hidden paths! Please consider giving it another try!
Hey! I know you have to switch between realms to progress, but I mean I was getting stuck between the platforms, like between the edges and stuff.
Yeah, I probably should've included somewhere that R resets the player :)
